They both enjoy walking and hiking, camping, photography, travel, and entertaining. Carrie enjoys swimming, reading, and is passionate about food and cooking.  Scott enjoys beekeeping in his down time.

How They Met

The couple met in Evanston, Illinois where they were both graduate students at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Scott had been commuting to Wisconsin for an internship and he decided it was too much.  Garrett-Evangelical placed him locally.  It was on January 25, one week later that Scott and Carrie met.  They were engaged by October and married the following August.
